The real legends of golf don’t just walk the fairways. They stand with our community.

The people and organizations who sponsor SVdP Portland’s annual Jim Altenhofen Memorial Golf Classic help turn a day on the course into a lifeline for our neighbors in crisis. Our sponsors’ gifts raise vital funds to keep utilities on or rent paid for folks in our community having a tough time. That’s more than a great putt. It’s a game-changer.


This summer, hundreds of sponsors, donors, players and volunteers contributed their time, talent, and money to the tournament at Glendoveer Golf Course in northeast Portland. All net proceeds will get spread around northwest Oregon in communities like Portland, Gresham, Milwaukie, Oregon City, Molalla, Tualatin and beyond.
