A long-time advocate for people struggling with poverty, Brian has years of nonprofit experience. He has been chief executive of the Portland Council since 2016. He previously led the Clackamas Service Center and Blanchet House, both in Portland. He's a graduate of Jesuit High and Washington State University, Vancouver.
A long-time Vincentian with her husband Terry, Gayle worked as a manager in a large dental practice before retiring. She was elected president of the Portland Council's board of directors in 2017. She also is active in her local St. Vincent de Paul, at Ascension Catholic Church in Northeast Portland.
With St. Vincent de Paul since 2020, Matt graduated in accounting from the University of Portland after attending La Salle High School and Holy Family Grade School. He worked in Asia and the United States during more than 30 years in the sports apparel business.
Emergency Services Manager
With St. Vincent de Paul since 2017, Craig has a master's degree from Marylhurst University, with a particular interest in nonprofit management. He previously managed a real estate business, and worked as a journalist. He has many more years' experience as a community volunteer.
