We are grieved to report the passing at age 90 of a former, long-time volunteer in our council's Emergency Services office. Gerald "Jerry" Rothenfluch spent his life in service to others. Just one of his stints was nearly a dozen years with the Emergency Services office of St. Vincent de Paul of Portland. There, he helped a wide range of people in need to get caught up on rent and utility bills. Jerry liked to work with people in person to figure out ways to solve their crise
