Labor Day—Another signal moment in the scheme of American life. Warm, summer weather lingers, yet work and school and other schedules change to portend the end of summer journeys and the approach of fall festivities.

We embrace this Labor Day tradition by operating with minimal staff on Monday, Sept. 1, honoring as many workers as we can with a day of rest.
Although our main office on Southeast Cornwell Street in Clackamas County will be closed, our new thrift store on Southeast Powell Boulevard in Portland will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Phone lines will not operate Monday, and local St. Vincent de Paul operations in our five-county area are scheduled to be closed.
Regular hours will resume Tuesday, Sept. 2.
