6. Set Your Phone Up Not To Miss Our Call
Failing to answer calls from our staff is the most common reason applicants are denied. And one of the biggest reasons applicants miss our calls is that their voicemail is full, or they never set up their phone to receive voicemail in the first place.
Once you've left a voicemail with us, follow these tips to keep your voicemail box available:
-
Check and delete voicemails often;
-
When you log in to check messages, you should hear an alert when your voicemail is full or nearly full.
-
-
Make it a habit to delete unwanted voicemails.
-
Store important messages in the cloud or on another device.
-
If your carrier allows, adjust voicemail settings to increase message length or storage limits.
-
Consider a voicemail-to-text service, which converts messages and sends them directly to your email or phone as a text message.
