The Portland main office is opening two hours late Friday, Jan. 19. Despite clearer streets, the parking lot remained iced over Thursday, and cooler temperatures and more rain are forecast overnight.
The 2-hour delay will allow time for staff to reassess the situation Friday morning in case the weather worsens. The hotline for food assistance will open one hour late. The rent/utility assistance line will have limited service, but will open at its regular time, 9:30 a.m.
