The Lead Gift portion of the 2010/2011 Funds Appeal will launch with much enthusiasm during the month of October 2010. The financial donation goal for this fiscal year is $300,000.
Many donations are being received each day. With your prayers added to ours, we are certain that this goal will be met.
All of the funds received through the Appeal go into program support. During the 2009/2010 fiscal year, the St. Vincent de Paul, Portland Council (which includes 50 groups of volunteers referred to as Conferences) provided over 420,000 services to people in need.
At the main Council Center our programs include; an Emergency Assistance office, a Food Bank, Mobile Kitchen, Food For Kids, Commodity Supplimental Food Program and a Food Recovery Program. For more information about the services we provide please see our Find Help area.
