Rent Assistance

Our staff and conference volunteers understand that many households are struggling. We know many households are just one paycheck from being homeless, or one unexpected emergency away from being forced to choose between food and shelter. We are here to help those in need.

Our Emergency Services program is professionally staffed along with assistance from conference volunteers from St. Louise Parish. The staff and conference volunteers answer incoming phone calls and assisting walk-in clients from households across the Metro region seeking help.

When sufficient funds are available, we assist with rentsutilities, food, travel and other types of emergency needs. Walk-Ins are welcome and it is often faster for clients.

Our offices are open between the hours of 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. We are open Monday thru Friday. Our emergency assistance office is located at 5120 S.E. Milwaukie Ave. Portland, OR., Map Tel: 503-235-8431.

Due to the high numbers of phone calls and walk-in clients, please be patient. Our staff will serve you with the same caring attention.

For service in the Hillsboro area call 503-648-5097 AM only.

    Kathlena,
I know that you can contact the school the kids are attending and get a voucher for the clothing closet in the school district. Also I believe snowcap and sunshine (I think its called that). You might also try freecycle and/or craigslist. Good luck.
